The Training Institute (IN.EP.) aims at the training not only of the newly appointed employees of the public sector, but also the already serving public servants through specially designed short term programs. More specifically, the training programs of P.IN.EP. aim at the understanding of the public servants of all levels of the modern administrative reality and the new demands and problems faced by the public sector, as well as their adapting to the needs of the new Public Administration in the environment of the Information Society.

The activities of IN.EP. are developed at the Central Institute of Athens, which is based in Tavros.

IN.EP. Sectors

The educational program of IN.EP. is based on the following main directions:

  • The tracing of the problems of an administrative field on the level of structures, procedures and development of specific and necessary dexterities of the human resources for the support of optimal solutions
  • The introduction of new methods for the effective administration of changes (Management of change), the simplification of the working methods and the systematic simplification of administrative procedures
  • The sensitization, understanding and effective integration of the role of the new technologies in all the range of the productive activities of the Public Administration and the provided services to the citizens, in the perspective of e-government
  • The study and processing of a meritocratic and effective system for the evaluation of the public servants, as well as the potential for the measuring of the productivity and the competitiveness of the public services and consequently, the improvement of the ability to meet the needs of the Greek society
  • The training of the personnel on the new structural framework for administrative action and the new working methods with the institution of a Management with Goals and the application of effectiveness indexes
