The governing organs of E.K.D.D.A. are the Board of Directors and the Secretary General.

The Board of Directors consists of:
  • The President
  • The Secretary General
  • The Directors of the educational units of E.K.D.D.A.
  • The Director of the General Directorate of Personnel of the Ministry of Interior
  • An Expert in Public Administration
  • Representatives of the Central Union of Municipalities and Communities of Greece (K.E.D.K.E.), the Supreme Administration of Unions of Public Employees (A.D.E.D.Y.), the Union of Prefecture Authorities of Greece (E.N.A.E.) and the Panhellenic Federation of Workers' Associations of the Local Goverment (P.O.E. - O.T.A.)

Scientific council

A Scientific Council consisting of 9 members assists the Board of Directors with its expert opinions regarding:

  • Questions concerning the educational programmes, the teaching methods, the duration of studies and the evaluation of performance of the National School of Public Administration (E.S.D.D.) and the National School of Local Government (E.S.T.A.).
  • The training subjects of the Training Institute (IN.EP.) and the evaluation of its work
  • The scientific publications of E.K.D.D.A.
  • The general orientation of the study and research activities of E.K.D.D.A.

Coordinating Training Committee

Under the Chairmanship of the Secretary General of E.K.D.D.A. operates a Coordinating Committee for Training, aiming at the coordination of the training programmes of all competent organs of the public sector and local government.
