Within the framework of the new perception on the education of the personnel of the Public Administration and Local Government, the National Center for Public Administration and Local Government (E.K.D.D.A.) creates a new register of the Main Teaching Personnel for all its educational units, i.e. the National School of Public Administration the National School of Local Administration and the Training Institute.

Taking into consideration the above, E.K.D.D.A. addresses an Invitation for the Expression of Interest to the educational personnel of the Universities and Higher Technological Institutes, the higher and highest officers and employees and the experts and specialists of the wider public sector, the local self-administration, the private sector, as well as the distinguished people from the field of letters and culture, capable of communicating the necessary knowledge and experience to the human resources of a modern and effective Public Administration and Local Government.

The right to applications for the expression of interest in order to be included in the register have all the above, who also possess specialization and documented experience on the following thematic fields:

• Organization and Management of Public Sector and Local Administration Services
• Human Resources Development
• International and European Law-International Organizations
• Constitutional and Administrative Law
• Financial Administration- Public Finances
• Planning and management of co-financed projects
• International trade and financial system-International Political Economy and Economic Diplomacy
• International relations, European Union and foreign policy
• The economics of the workplace – Employment policies
• Social and migrational policy
• Civil Protection
• Territorial planning, environment and sustainable development
• Tourist Economy and Policy-Tourist Management
• Communication and Public Relations
• Cultural heritage and cultural management
• Innovative actions in education (environment – culture- health education-electronic learning)
• Foreign Languages (English, French, German)
• Information Technology and applications’ development

Given the demands of the programs of study of the National School of Public Administration and the National School of Local Administration and the training programs of the Training Institute for the training of personnel capable of staffing responsible positions in the Public Sector and the Local Administration, the interested trainers wishing to become registered must also have:

• A PhD or a Postgraduate Title equivalent to a Masters Degree.
• A professional experience in the field of specialization or/and training-teaching experience.
• Knowledge of at least one foreign language.

Scientific and research activities, but also publications are additional desired qualifications for the candidates.

The candidates in the field of Foreign Languages in particular will need to have their main degree in English, French or German Literature and a relevant Postgraduate Degree.

Under special circumstances it is possible for special categories of professionals or governmental employees or officers to become included in the register, following their application, without a PhD or a Postgraduate Degree, given that they are well established at their workplace and they posses at least ten years of professional experience in their field of activation.

The applications of the interested trainers will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of E.K.D.D.A., which will control the submitted data and will propose their inclusion in the Register.

The Scientific Evaluation Committee can ask from the candidates documents or other proofs for the certification of the data in their application, or invite them to undergo an interview.

E.K.D.D.A. will not necessarily use the trainers included in the Trainers’ Register.

The interested trainers are invited to submit the relevant applications for their inclusion in the Main Training Personnel Register of E.K.D.D.A. in a digital form.

The ones already registered in a Training Personnel Register of E.K.D.D.A. are also invited to fill in the above application, as the old Registers will no longer be valid.
